Class: Easy-Intermediate Diet:

-As babies: Mice every 2 weeks

-As adults: Small rat every 2 weeks Heating: Heat mat Lighting: None

Tank:

-As babies: 20 Gallon

-As adults: 40 Gallon

Substrate: Felt or Snake mat or Bioactive

Mental stimulation: Hide

Water: Water dish that they can somewhat soak in

Humidity: Soak to help stuck shed

Sexing: Put thumbs on either size of cloaca and push slightly. One big thing = Female. Two little things = Male

Training: Some can be bell trained and arm trained

Pros:

-Slow moving

-Hardy

-Many of them are good cuddlers

-Can be found at PetSmart

Cons:

-Larger snake

-Aren't very active during the day

Breeding:

-Brumate at 50 degrees (F) for 1-3 months

-Clutches have 1-11 eggs

-Eggs hatch after 55-65 days

-Should be 2-3 years before breeding

-Thousands of ball python morphs

-Tub sizes for breeding:

-Babies: 6-12qt

-Adult males: 21qt

-Breeding females: 44qt
