Class: Beginner Diet:

-As babies: Pinky every week (or more if you want it to grow faster)

-As adults: Mouse every 10-14 days Heating: Heat mat Lighting: None

Tank:

-As babies: 10 Gallon

-As adults: 20 Gallon

Substrate: Sand

Mental stimulation: Sand and hide

Water: Water dish that they can somewhat soak in

Humidity: Soak to help stuck shed

Sexing: You can determine the gender by comparing tail shape; The male has a longer, slimmer tail, whereas the female's tail is stubbier and shorter

Training: None that I know of

Pros:

-Hardy

-Better at handling than most snakes

-Smaller

-Usually wont bite (even if they did it wouldn't hurt)

-Great for kids

-Slower

Cons:

-Look a little weird to some people

-Like to hide in sand

Breeding:

-5-15 eggs in each clutch

-About a 66 day incubation period

-Males are ready to breed around a year

-Females should be 2 years old before breeding

-Tub sizes for breeding:

-Babies: 6qt tub

-Adult males: 21qt tub

-Adult females: 28qt tub
